Just curious to know what everyone thinks about scrapbooking. I'm thinking of starting this hobby soon. If anyone has tips for me they will be apprecitated.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I love scrapbooking!!! 
although with two little ones, its hard to get it done, I am so far behind, I am doing a book for every year of their lives and I'm already behind three books!!! and they are only 5 and 3!

i made a scrapbook once but it was for my major subject here in the university...it was about ecological tuffs...i really enjoyed doing it althought it took a lot of my time...haha. i had starfishes on the covers and beads, too...

I made one for my boyfriend once. REALLY great fun, but all the little add-ons cost SO much!

haha...on mine, i looked for really cheap old but still in good shape tourism magazines...the second hand sones. then i used the pretty pictures and some of the pics that i used were from our stacks of time magazines at hiome....

The pictures weren't too bad for me, I printed them off here. But the little hearts and beads and word stickers and all those embellishments cost SO much in the UK! Much cheaper in the USA.

I put things I want to accomplish, it help me focus on what I really desire and want in life. I got this idea from a christian writer.

My personal 2 cents is that it is in large part a reaction to an electronic culture, in that this is a very palpable activity. This is probably not provable, but if it was worth it (which it might be in some cases) some research could help validify this theory.
