Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've gotten into scrapbooking again lately. I had developed waay too much perfectionism. Now I'm working faster and just enjoying it!

Our local homeschool teen group has gotten together the last three years and created a scrapbook style yearbook. Just an idea for anyone out there...

I love to scrapbook and would love to talk with anyone else who does.

Talk about what? I'd love to chat. What are some of your favorite ways to decorated your pages? Do you have the Creative Memories style or the cover-of-the-scrapbook-magazine style? Where do you buy your stuff and what could you not live without?

I really enjoy scrapbooking when I can find the time without my little one trying to "help"! ^_^

Our MOPS (Mother's of Preschoolers) group has a MOP Crop once a month at the church where we can get together without little ones and have those nice long tables to work at. It's great fun! :)

I love scrapbooking. I got to love it because I always use to wachte my mom scrapbook and then I started. I love get more and more creative with each page I do.
I absolutely love scrapbooking too! I am in the process of doing a separate book for each of my immediate family members. It is fun, because in the process memories come flooding back!

I have been scrapbooking since I was little. I used to use construction paper and glue. I have redone most of those pages. I have 13 scrapbooks...none of them are finished! I work on them when I can which isn't very often. I sometimes use Creative Memories if I can afford it. Michael's or Hobby Lobby are good places to go too.
My kids each have their own books too. It is a good way to get them to talk to me about stuff they may not other wise open up about!

I have found 2 places online in the UK that are inexpensive and accept postal orders which means i can't buy things without having the cash!!! It's a great way to shop :) I have decided to make a 2005 scrapbook, the beginning of my life wasn't exciting to scrapbook - lots of bad memories- but this year has been good and things are looking up so i want to scrapbook it so i can remember it!!! it's excting :) I'm also going to make a scrapbook for my Dad for fathersday of me and my sisters growing up because he missed out on a lot - he left but now we're back being father and daughter :) so i'm gonna do that too!!! I still haven't started - i'm planning in my mind just now!!
