Any other scrapbookers here? I've only been scrapping for less than a year, but I *love* it! It's just so diverse and really lets you get as creative as you want. The only downside is it can be an expensive hobby!

Hey! I occasionally scrapbook, or 'did'. I haven't in a long time. Mostly because I haven't gotten any film developed grrrr!
Indeed it can be very costly!

I love to scrapbook- in fact, I became a Creative Memories consultant to support my habbit. It is a really fun hobby and a great way to preserve and display your pictures. My kids enjoy it too.

Scrapbooking is basically putting pictures together in an album in a themed manner. Though I do have some layouts that's not really themed. I'm sure someone else can explain it better than me...I'm not good with words.

I absolutely love scrapbooking! I have now taught my 6 & 8 year old niece how to scrapbook and they love it! I've always wanted to go to one of Creative Memories scrapbook seminars.

Scrapbooking is archiving your photo's with products that are photo safe so that in 20+ years your picture are still in good shape and not falling apart because of the acid in most photo albums. The acid and lignon in paper and photo albums is what causes your pictures to get yellow and brittle. Scrapbooking with archival quality materials enables your photo's to last much longer. I can't post images yet- not enough posts- but I'll post some of my pages when I get a high enough post count. Scrapbooking makes your pictures so much more fun to look at.

Oh, man I know what you mean. I am a sticker-holic. I'm so bad. Not only that but I have SO many pictures I've hardly even looked at yet. I went to Disney 2 years ago and so far I've only done 1 layout. Problem is I'm going AGAIN in december. Heh, wonder how long it'll take me to do those!

I've done a couple, one for DH and one for my MIL. I used to smaller albums - 6x6 and they went fast.

I had made one for myself for my senior year, but also had made a few other small ones for friends.

Yeah, I made a scrapbook for my sister for her wedding gift. I used a 12x12 strap-hinge album that coordinated with her wedding colors and I decorated the pages but let her put the photo's in herself. Included with the album was a roll of adhesive, a photo safe journaling pen, and a corner rounder so that she would have everything she needed to finish the album herself since I live 600 miles away from her and couldn't do the pics for her. It was a fun gift to make and she loved it. I also did two memory albums for my cousin's little girls. She was killed in a car crash last Christmas so I made albums depicting the times in her life from birth until her last birthday, then presented them to her daughters. They are 12 & 15 years old and both said it was exactly what they needed. It made me cry, but it made me feel good too, knowing I was giving them something they would always cherish.

I used to scrapbook. I started my 8th grade year and ended up quitting the summer of my sophomore year. I either never had time to do it, never took pictures, or didn't have the money for supplies or to get film developed. It did become a lil' bit expensive. I'm hoping that I'll have more time and money to make one for my senoir year of high school.

I find Scrapbooking to be very expensive...matter of fact..that's all I asked for for X-mas this year...scrapbooking stuff. One thing that I find that helps is everytime I go shopping, I pick something up...depending how much money I have...sometimes it may cost less than a dollar...but it's still something.

I scrapbook when I have the time. I've done about 4 of them already. My current project is making a scrapbook for my parents since they have been married 50 years. It is a lot of fun!!! I still have many pics to put in scrapbooks so I'll have this hobby for quite a while.

Scrapbooking Is One Of My Favorite Hobbies... Although Like You All Have Said It Is Very Expensive .. My Sister Is The One Who Had Me Hooked To Scrapbooking ... I Am working On A Family Album ,Besides That I Am Also In Clubs Online For Scrapbooking .. Im In The Album & Recipes Scrapbooking .. Not Sure If You Ladies Are Familiar With Recipe Scrap Pages But Heres A Briefing On What It Is.. Basically It Is The Same As Album Pages With Pictures.. But It Entitles U Putting A Recipe On The Page Instead Of Picture.. And Devorate It With Embellishments,Paper Piecings,Titles,It Is So Much Fun... I Love My Clubs It Keeps Me Busy With Something I Love To Do & U Get To Meet Friends From Everywhere & Do Swappings With Them On Projects.. It's Awesome..
