White people across the nation simply need to support tennis, swimming, and golf as much as they support football and basketball.
If you cannot pay you need to find a way to better your situation. That equation should involve hard work, and not time spent crying about discrimination, which is the liberal way.That is still discrimination. There is no equality, and if one cannot pay one cannot play. That is the conservative way.

Yes it is...but is it a problem? Just because it's discrimination doesn't mean it's a problem.It is discrimination against everybody who is not a legacy and is not merit based, as simple as that.

College football and basketball teams do make lots and lots of money (and yes, the athletes should benefit more than they do).
Please understand what colleges do with that money, For the most part, that money goes to support other college teams, many of whom wouldn't exist without the money that comes in from football and basketball. Certainly, the sports scholarships would be greatly reduced.
Are you happy to watch the dozens of other sports? Thank the football and basketball teams.

So, for some schools there is one pot of money, the school's resources not coming from sports.
Other schools have two pots, their regular pot, plus the pot of sports money that funds ALL the different sports that the sports revue can support. Yes. I know that this isn't true for all schools. However, I think that it is true for schools that make top sports team a high priority so that they can fund more sports than it would be able to do without the money from football and basketball.
