I suppose computers have come a long way, My first one was the sinclair zx81 16k ram, speed==nil, in the early 80s which I still have, it had to be loaded by tape and had no type writer keys that we know today. the earliest was the valved type of the 1940s which was enormous and did little. In the bible it was prophesied that knowledge would increase, I suppose this must include the development of computers and information technology I have to send error reports to microsoft often when programs crash so they may analize them----Clancheif2000--

I remember it well also. The ZX81 was only black and white using the basic computer language. Thankfully they have progressed. In Fife there are small computer shops, but to have a better selection one must go to Edinburugh or Glasgow. Churches use computer technology very much indeed,in my last church in Kilsyth links were made with other churches by web cams and audio during the church service. The church was in Southafrica. At the back of the church they have monitors, computers with which they projected pictures, messages hynms etc onto a permanent screen at the front of the church. The church was very mutch larger than the one I attend now. I suppose technology costs---Clancheif2000 loging off soon ~~ :holy:

Scotland Rocks! I remember getting lost in Edinburgh and people were stopping ME to see if I needed a hand getting where I wanted to go! That just made my whole trip and I vowed I would go back to Edinburgh one day and live there! And where in the world am I right now? At home here in Canada...waiting. I would up and leave right now but God has blessed me with an awesome job working amongst fellow christians (so that I can repay my debts incurred from my last trip)and I dont think that He nor the bonny hills of Scotland are calling me there yet! Plus I need to get some info and questions answered before I do something crazy like planting my roots in another place. You all can help me out with that, can't you??
Cheerio,
Heather

Proverbs 3/5+6 would seem appropriate. Certainly the British goverment is actively encouraging immigration as the population in Scotland is falling.I know many people who have emigrated to the USA and Canada. Like anywhere else all denomonations are represented here. Sounds like you have a good job in B.C.There are jobs here, but not many .To (get on) and find suitable jobs many Scots had to move to England or go abroad. Many jobs now are now in high tech(.electronics) etc.Like every where, there are good and bad people and areas to live.----All the best -- traingosorry, Clan cheif2000.

Hey ClanChief.... I want to thank you for passing me the verse, Proverbs,...it's one of those things that you read and think " aaaah...yes" and while it makes sense it doesn't always apply at that time in our lives. This time round, I needed to see it again. So thank you.
Hopefully from here on my paths will be a little more straight.
