Yeah, if you mean either the evening when he was talking about Jesus caring for the one person and or when he was speaking in the community bit about s*x. Was really scary in some ways at the end, I've not been anywhere that anything like that's happened. It was so good though. How about yourself?

Yeah, that was the bit about Jesus caring for the individual, and was very cool. Next year should be awesome, they could be getting one of the big worship people, can't remember who off the top of my head, but will be awesome, Anyone going to the Switchfoot concert in Perth on the 20th of August?

They won't be able to now, it's been cancelled. I found out a few days ago before it went official, but wasn't sure of the reason. Found it it's a family one though, which isn't good, It's supposed to happen in feb though. The whole European tour was cancelled.

I'm not FROM Scotland, but I have many relatives that live there and I'm 1/4 Scotch! I also know someone who just got back from vacation in Edinburgh!

Strictly speaking, I'm not *from* Scotland either! I'm as American as apple pie...but I married a Scotsman and I've been here for three years now. I apply for British citizenship in October, though!

There are lots of Americans on the streets of Edinburgh right now, it's great! Fetival time is an exciting time to be in the city.

It's important to let you know that Scotch is the drink and Scots/Scottish are the people. We are quite picky about that.

Well thats the received wisdom.

However, my father has an old (50s?) concise OED. Under Scotch the second definition (after the water of life) is;

From or pertaining to Scotland.

While under Scots it has;

What the Scotch call themselves.

However, not even my father would be pedant (or suicidal) enough to insist on that as the correct definition.

From the same people who thought Bombay was close enough to Bom Bahia or Mumbai, and Peking was a better name than Beijing, and Ceylon was preferable to Lanka. (Not our fault if they had ears that were painted on!)
