I was curious, as ever, and wondered how many of us here can speak Gaelic?
nvrbnunloved said:I started learning it back when they had that series on STV - Learning Our Language (or something like that!) - all I can remember now though is how to say "how are you?" and "thank you" - and I can only remember how to say it, not how to spell itBut I think seeing as I am actually American, I can be given some leniency
I do love the language though - it`s a real pity that it`s not spoken as much in Scotland as Welsh is in Wales..

The tartan army needs you.... see below and pass on
The London Development Agency are currently asking for people to vote on
the name of a new foot bridge on the site of the new Wembley Stadium.
The
name has to be something significant to Wembley's past.
The Tartan Army are looking to hi-jack the naming, by voting for Jim
Baxter
on the below link. Reason being his keepy-uppy routine in 67'. A
legitimate reason for voting for him is that he is already in the
Wembley
Hall of Fame.
Please pass this email on to as many people as possible. Imagine, a
Scottish legend immortalised on the site of the new English national
stadium!
