I was over reading that thread, the only thing I can add to what I posted in that thread is that I think America is a tottaly different culture than ours and cause they dont live here they dont fully understand how bad the knife problem is.theFijian said:

But yeah over here its a tottaly different story, the sooner this knife maddness stops the better.

I would actually go further and say that some do understand, but they see restrictions on knives as too high a price to pay for a reduction in knife crime. Go figure.

No no, trust me....they day will come when you'll look back and say "I shoulda appreciated it" I'm only 2 but me and my mates often lament those wonderful carefree days.....

Yeh, I'll have one! I'm already wishing I was back earlier in school now! And I'm still is school! Ok, it's my last year, but still... Got so much work and I have to work to start saving for uni next year. I think I'll be doing either geography or something geography related at Aberdeen, St Andrews or Edinburgh.

Wow! Sorry to break up the conversation, 
, I'm really new to these message boards, so when I saw I could talk to some real live breathing Scots, I totaly freaked out! Going to Scotland and talking to Scottish people has been my life-long dream! So sorry if my post was off topic. I would love to talk to some of ya'll and ask some of the many questions that I've accumulated over the past 15 years of my life in Florida. That is only if you don't think I'm a total wierdo by now!
