If there is no distinction then you are saying that God does keep a record of our, meaning everyone's, wrongs.

It's best not to worry about what God does, he is perfect in his justice as well as perfect in his love and mercy. God is the least likely to be out gunning for you because you don't quite measure up to some other Christian's doctrine, morality, or practises. It's people that need to throw away their score books. I hope your questions are rhetorical. Of course we are to love others as Christ has loved us and of course we are to love others as we love ourselves. These are fundamentals of the faith which I hope all Christians believe and, with God's grace, try to live. So why ask?

God keeps no record of our sins because we are repentant. If we seek forgiveness, the forgiveness is ours. But God does not forgive those who are not repentant.
