I think he will pardon him, and should.Fair enough, but even Bush isn't stupid enough to offer up a pardon.

The Whitewater investigation wasted millions of taxpayer dollars to find absolutely nothing. What's your point
What was the point of this investigation? We wanted to see if anyone within the administration leaked any names to Novak. We found out it was an administation outsider who leaked the name, and he was not found guility of any crime since he did not know at the time she was a covert agent. We have someone convicted on perjury when there was no underlying crime..so basically we spent millions of dollars to get someone on a technicality.

Good, Libby should never have been convicted in the first place. That just shows what happened when you have a prosecutor trying to sharpen a political axe, and activist judges and juries trying to bend the law in their favor.
The Whitewater investigation resulted in 15 convictions. You may consider that to be absolutely nothing, but those who went to prison as a result of the investigation may disagreeThe Whitewater investigation wasted millions of taxpayer dollars to find absolutely nothing. What's your point

Right - Whereas Libby has not been vindicated. My point was that for many it was considered a waste since all it did was vindicate the Clintons from any wrong doing.

And using that same logic, Bush has been vindicated as well since the investigation turned up even less than the Whitewater investigation. For many that may be the case , but the reality is somewhat different. It's like saying that the Reagan was vindicated from any wrong doing by the Iran Contra investigation.
