I tend to agree.

But I would much rather view Him looking like this now:
.
I have created and uploaded a video... In which I have did Jesus up just right!

And odds are numerous people will be offended by your rendition much as you are the one in the first post. They may call into question whether you have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit just as you you have called into question others. You have your "facts". They have their "facts". You are almost as likely right and almost as likely wrong as they are.
Now, my question is what possible difference does it make what Christ looked like? Focusing so heavily on his apperance detracts from His sacrifice and His message. IMO anything we do to detract from His sacrifice and His message is the true insult.
He was tortured, tormented and crucified; yet, he readily forgave those who did those things. I rather doubt He gives a flip how He is depicted physically so long as His message is not altered or ignored.
Christ insulted by a drawing? Not a possible chance. He is simply not petty. He also is wise enough to look to a person's heart and soul to examine their virtue and worth. He does not make His decisions on our worth based on if we "look like a criminal" or if we "look like we do not have virtue."
I would also imagine He has a whole list of things that are actually important to oversee.
(Isa 53:2) For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Sounds like, "and verily, he shall falleth from the Ugly Tree and hitteth every branch as he shall plummet..."
If that prophecy really does refer to Jesus.... thread over.
And even that likely isn't accurate. Art then even more the now was not always representational, including sculptures.
You must have missed that up thread. Rocky did use Sir McKellen but immediately retracted the comparison when he was informed that Sir McKellen was gay.I'm surprised we didn't include Sir Ian McKellen's Gandalf in that list:
back
But that's right; I forgot... Sir Ian McKellen wore a fake nose!

My desire is to do the loving savior up as someone descent, loving, and kind. As far as Jesus portrayers I like the Jim Caviezel guy. I love visiting the Polynesia and finding the images done up with honor and with crowns of flowers...
I fail to see anything insulting....http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencet...-use-forensics-reveal-Christ-looked-like.html
Science thinks that the face of Jesus looks like this...
