• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

yep I was right you’ve never in out in a rainstorm.;)

the change in moisture and temperature from having raindrops form would cause air movement aka wind . Water vapor gives off heat to form liquid water drops . That’s an awful lot of heat energy added to the air .add your superheated steam from the so called fountains of the deep which are under the surface and you’ve got hot air to add to that. Water vapor gives off heat to form liquid water drops . That’s an awful lot of heat energy added to the air . Or course this would cause windy weather conditions. I’d say hurricanes and tornadoes along with this being hellishly hot

Deep ocean water is actually pretty cold, and, I've watch tides come in and haven't noticed any 'steam'.

The 'math' is in what causes of wind. Remove the cause... temperature differences...and voila, no wind. This would have been accomplished by the extended period of rain, and the encroaching sea water.

.... this is beyond silly.

Survival depends on US vs Them. If I cooperate with Them, I'm doomed.
Nonsense. Social animals with stro,g tendency to cooperation are the most successful. That why we see beehives, was nestes, ant colonies, wolf packs, herds, flocks of birds.

It gets children to believe they are more evolved than others and have the right to shoot them in the head...... after all, they are just animals and it is survival of the fittest.....
Then why do we see so much school shootings in the USA, and so little in the rest of the world, that is so much secular and where the ToE does not cause such a controversy.

One can be in society but not of society. If I conducted my affairs like the average person ('group think') I wouldn't be doing nearly as well.

Don’t try that near a lava flow into the ocean . Aside from the heat you’d probably suffocate . If this extra water came from under the surface then it would be hot water and probably full of dissolved minerals .

It came from the sea, not from beneath the earth.
