This is why, if there is a God and assuming it is a personal God (which I give the least likelihood to by the way) one can only hope, this God would understand just how difficult he made it to believe in him, for people that need to understand, with some level of objectivity.

Which is precisely an argument for understanding God as a preconceptual reality that exists beyond our concepts, except vaguely metaphorically, and that salvation and faith are *not* about right conceptualization but rather the stuff we mean when we say "I have faith in you."

Shorter: it's only a theology so emaciated as to demand right concepts of God that is to blame here.
