  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

School will be out soon

Seeing as how we school at home, we're not changing a whole lot as to not used to being around them all the time. The kids like games and such. We'll head to the museums and science center and zoo. We'll slowing work through some of their school lessons, so that not a lot is lost due to inactivity. We walk and swim. And they can play in the yard.

My kids are looking forward to a break from school. So, I think at first we'll just take a couple weeks to do "nothing". Each kid will also get to go to a week of day camp, one basketball and one ballet. We'll probably take a long road trip to visit grandma and some cousins. Beyond that I'm sure we'll spend lots of time playing with cousins. I'd like to spend some time each week practicing the math facts and spelling word and such, just to keep things fresh.
