• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

And Jesus taught us to pray, ".... THY KINGDOM COME, ON EARTH (today) as it is in HEAVEN..."
And for those who find His Kingdom on earth, in Jesus, it is so.

Some don't call it schzphrn , they called it pellagra, and that made all the difference, in our life now on earth, (there won't be any pellagra nor schzphrn in heaven in the life to come) ....

Maybe I'm wrong about this but it seems maybe upwards of 10% of the members on this forum have schizophrenia? Yet the general population its more like 1-2% max. I find this oddity interesting.

It a problem that most people have but it not clearly visible since it a problem in the brain.

Most people have schizophrenia? Kind of makes sense, never thought about it that way.

So there won't be any doctors in heaven? No wonder people think heaven is so boring. Shows like house md, greys anatomy, won't exist in heaven? nooooooooo!
Neither will the fleshly desire to want such things. It's going to be amazing you'll see. :)

That happens when a huge majority of the population have poor health resulting from inadequate soil feeding less than good , less than optimal, nourishment to the crops , vegetables, and fruits grown,
when the chemicals are taken up in the plants and animals in the food supply
more than the nutrients they need (and subsequently people need but are not getting),
and when the chemical assault on people through air, food, water, and even medicine overwhelms the bodies normal immune system so it cannot function up to par, or even close to par.

Often it may be correctable under a doctor's care when they know what to test for and get to the actual cause/effect and if they find something correctable they correct it. (like they used to do, with scurvy, pellagra, and beriberi and shinkgles) ...

It's a medical condition that not everyone has, although more generally one never knows sometimes how ppl are going to react; what stressors are going to take effect sometimes.

Just a guesstimate but a lot of members seem to have it compared to the normal population. Wouldn't surprise me if a forum is full of more schizophrenics than the general population since the average member of the population doesn't go on forums.

There does seem to be a lot of visitors / members too? /
that do not or
mostly cannot go out even to the store, or church, or the park,
or anywhere
without small or great inconvenience or risk (physical, mental, soulish, or spiritual),

and choose to look online for entertainment, relief, escape from boredom, something to do or something to promote,
or just something/ people to participate with - company good and bad(like anywhere public).

This post is spot on. Why it's the case I'm not sure, but its real.
