Tonight I can edit posts I am making presently.

The posts from this afternoon show no edits in the thread, but when I click edit...I can see the changes I made, as if the changes went through

agreed. the same thing happend to me this morning.

to clarify: i am able to edit a post, but when i strike the 'send button on the edited post, the post does not get edited, but shows the original post.
hitting the refresh key does not help, and the original post neither shows the edit nor in the comments section that the post was edited.

This is what happens with me. With these additions:

If I try to edit again, the text shows in the edit window the way I already edited it. But it will not show up that way after I click Save. If I wait a few minutes and try again, there will be a note that says I edited the post, and the edited text still shows up in the typing frame, but the change will not be made in the saved post.

It seems that you can only edit posts within a certain time frame.....

I posted something at 11:30am and 1 hour later it will NOT post the changes (even though they do show if you click EDIT)

Aside from not being able to edit posts from earlier times. yes mine seem to have been working. allow me to test now...
