DARLING, WE CHOOSE SUFFERING...(ETERNAL SEPERATION FROM GOD) IN WHAT EVER FORM.

HE IS OUR WAY OF ESCAPE...HE MADE THE WAY BY OFFERING HIS LIFE...HE WANTS NO ONE TO PERISH, THAT WAS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF JESUS AND HIS DEATH THE CROSS.

BUT HE WANTED A PEOPLE WHOSE DESIRE WAS TO WORSHIP HIM, NOT THAT THEY HAD TO...SO HE GAVE US FREE CHOICE.

BEFORE HE RETURNS...EVERY PERSON WILL HAVE HAD A CHANCE TO KNOW THE LORD, AND EITHER DENY OR EMBRACE HIM. THIS IS NOT GOD'S DECISION, BUT MAN'S.

id do realise this, i know those in hell choose refuse the gift of salvation, but hey do not know what they lies ahead. they dont know that the will suffer eternally. i do and im probably still going there even though i dont want to. i cant stand the idea of eternal suffering for anyone, even if they do choose it.

BECAUSE YOU CARE SO MUCH ABOUT WETHER OR NOT ANYONE WILL SUFFER, MAYBE GOD HAS PUT THIS IN YOUR HEART TO CALL YOU TO BE AN INTERCESSOR...FOR OTHERS...AND TO TELL THE TRUTH SO THAT OTHERS WILL BE SAVED...AND NOT SUFFER.

BUT ARE YOU SAYING YOU WILL GO TO HELL...IF YOU BELIEVE, AND IF YOU DON'T?
GOD'S WORD IS TRUE...AND YOU CAN'T JUST BELIEVE IT IN PART...YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE IT IT IN IT'S ENTIRITY.
OR ELSE, GOD WOULD BE A LIAR,
(WHICH HE CAN NEVER BE)

2Ti 2:13If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself

GOD SAYS....
Rom 10:9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Hebrews 10

1 For the law having a shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect them that draw nigh.
2 Else would they not have ceased to be offered? because the worshippers, having been once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins.
3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance made of sins year by year.
4 For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, But a body didst thou prepare for me;
6 In whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hadst no pleasure:
7 Then said I, Lo, I am come (In the roll of the book it is written of me) To do thy will, O God.
8 Saying above, Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein (the which are offered according to the law),
9 then hath he said, Lo, I am come to do thy will. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest indeed standeth day by day ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, the which can never take away sins:
12 but he, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 henceforth expecting till his enemies be made the footstool of his feet.
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 And the Holy Spirit also beareth witness to us; for after he hath said,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them After those days, saith the Lord: I will put my laws on their heart, And upon their mind also will I write them; then saith he,
17 And their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,
20 by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 and having a great priest over the house of God;
22 let us draw near with a true heart in fulness of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience: and having our body washed with pure water,
23 let us hold fast the confession of our hope that it waver not; for he is faithful that promised:
24 and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works;
25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh.
26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more a sacrifice for sins,
27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fierceness of fire which shall devour the adversaries.
28 A man that hath set at nought Moses law dieth without compassion on the word of two or three witnesses:
29 of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
30 For we know him that said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were enlightened, ye endured a great conflict of sufferings;
33 partly, being made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, becoming partakers with them that were so used.
34 For ye both had compassion on them that were in bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of you possessions, knowing that ye have for yourselves a better possession and an abiding one.
35 Cast not away therefore your boldness, which hath great recompense of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, having done the will of God, ye may receive the promise.
37 For yet a very little while, He that cometh shall come, and shall not tarry.
38 But my righteous one shall live by faith: And if he shrink back, my soul hath no pleasure in him. 39 But we are not of them that shrink back unto perdition; but of them that have faith unto the saving of the soul.

PLEASE NOTE ALL OF THIS IS BEING SAID OUT OF LOVE FOR YOU!!!!!:hug:

i dont know about being born again, but i was brought up as a christian. some times i lost faith. but i have always known god was there watching over me. as i matured my faith grew. i understand it is my job to teach, but i am not going to force my beliefs on other people because i respect them. if someone is willing of course i will help. i know these people have a choice but some dont. mentally hadicapped may dont neither do people who live in the middle of the jungle who have never heard of jesus.

you arent forcing your beliefs on someone by telling them how wonderful Jesus is , or why you acepted him. It is our responsibility to tell the lost about him so they can make that choice. Those that are mentally handicapped, or in the middle of the jungle and havent heard of Jesus will not be penalized for that, but the word says that even the invisable things of God , creation and stuff , shows God , and man is without excuse. Also, being brought up in church doesnt necessarily mean you have accepted the free gift of salvation in Jesus Christ, to be your Lord and Saviour. So first, search your heart , and get that settled first. Im praying for you, and if you need to talk , send me a pm, as I and im sure others would be honored to help in any way we can.:)

i do try to fight it but i just cant. i want to love god fully and understand, i know that christ suffered so that i could be with him and i am thankfull. but i dont see how i can be truley happy and understaning of god, when eternal tourment exists! god created us with compashion, so how could i not feal this way? i fear i will be going to hell because i dontlove him as i should, as dont understand how he can allow his creation to suffer so. i know with my finate mind i can never understand and infinate god, but i just wish that all suffering would end one day. how can i be happy while others suffer? how can i not think of them and not feel pain? if feel saddness already for those who suffer during there lives on earth, but what about those for whom there is no end to suffering?

I know, I know. But have any of us really ever loved God the way we were supposed to? no. It's in our nature to rebel. That's just the reason Jusus died, because God knows that we are human and that we are going to royally mess it all up.

Just know that you can go anytime to God and make things better with him, no matter what you've done.

I smack myself in the head every time I rebel against God by doing something He said was wrong, but I ask Him to forgive me and move on (the moving on part is the hardest:thumbsup: )

Cheer up, my friend. Everything is going to be all right, because you are in God's hands. Take your anguish, your pain, and every other burden and chain, and just drop them at His feet and say, "Lord, I can't handel any of this, but I know You can."

Notice how when Jesus was doing ministry, that He didn't choose the religous leaders or the higher-ups to be his followers, but the "losers" of the time period? Matthew was a tax collector, hated by all!

It's just like us. God chose you and me to be His representitives. His arms. His Voice. That's how you keep people out of Hell, is to be thoes things!

God bless you!!!!!!

If you ever have any more problems, come talk to me. I'm always a shoulder to cry on.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
This is talking about the New Jerusalem I do believe.

Fearfullysad, Jesus has a really sweet character you know? He ate with sinners, put the pharisees in their spot, did stuff that just made the "high and might" preists,ect angrier and angrier at him. He had absolutely no admiration from almost any of the people in human authority, like most people cared about, and he even died on the cross, so that the sinners could get saved. When Peter chopped off the servent guys ear (When they were coming to arrest Jesus), Jesus scolded Peter and healed the guys ear! He forgave prostitutes and invited tax collecters to be his disciples. "What manner of man is this, what manner of man is he?" (some song). Why, he was one with the Father and full of love. His heart was grieved, kind of like yours, with the hardness of the peoples' hearts. He did A LOT of stuff so that people could be forgiven. What is wrong with people if they don't want to Jesus' love?

C.S Lewis said something like this:
Hell is like when a person says to God, "go away and leave me alone." And God says, "as you wish."

Usually I don't post to threads that have been replied to so many times, but it seems you are still uneasy about your situation, fearfullysad. I hope I can be of some assistance to you, if you'll think about what I tell you I believe it will resolve some of your questions. And remember, if you lack wisdom ask it of God, He gives to all liberally and upbraideth not (not finding fault).

Why is there a hell? Quite simply hell was not created for man. Hell was created for satan and the demons that followed him. They dwelt with God, and despite there first hand knowledge of Him they did not believe in Him. Sure they believe there is a God, and they tremble at the thought. Because God has seen their wickedness and cast them away. Hell was made for them. A spirit cannot die. A spirit by defination is the breathe of God. By its very nature it is immortal. Our bodies see corruption and death, but this is only the cocoon for our spirit.

God is perfect and being perfectly just cannot allow anything but perfection to enter in communion with Himself. In making us, He seeks a bride, a family for Himself. He is giving us the greatest gift we could ever receive, that is fellowship with Himself. To be able to one day experience the love and fulfillment He has within Himself in the trinity.

God sent people to tell us the way we should go, and we killed them all. He sent His only begotten son (surely they would listen to Him), and we said, "This is the heir to the kingdom, let's kill him and take it for ourselves."

God is a God of justice. And no matter who you ask, unless they have completely hardened themselves, they would have it no other way. If someone was to rape, torture, and then slowly murder the one you love most, and they got away would you seek for justice to be found? Could we say God was just if He didn't bring them to justice? This is why no liar, theif, murderer, adulter, idolitor, blasphemer cannot enter heaven. Justice must be served.

By God's standard, we all fall short and are in a desperate situation. This is why Christ came and died. Let me use an story to show my point more clearly. There once lived a just king. He pronounced that anyone who commited treason was to have both of their eyes plucked out. Many people came before him and many had their eyes plucked out. One day they brought someone before him with a hooded coat over them. After giving the evidence, the king declared him guilty. Then they removed his hood and to the king's dismay it was his son. The king had them wait 24 hours for the sentencing. The next day the king came in wearing a hooded jacket and was lead to his chair. He pulled the hood back, and everyone was astonished to see two bloody holes where his eyes were. The king ask the peoples if justice was served by him taking the punishment for his son, to which everyone said it was. The son seeing his father's compassion, love, and dedication to just repented from his treason never to return again.

God took upon Himself through the person of Jesus Christ the sins of us all. If someone will look upon that sacrifice and be unmoved but remain in their state of treachery and sin, His justice must be served. By Christ's death He wrote up the pardon for us, we will still be put to death if we don't sign that pardon.

Make every effort to make your calling and election sure and you will never fall. God is able to keep you. You must not hold your faith in yourself, but in Christ's work. You will know you have pasted from death into life when you love the brethren. Indeed, you already display this love in your fear for them perishing. Let that fear motivate you to live uprightly and righteously. Let that fear push you to holiness. And when you do that let that fear push to you share your faith. Saving people by pulling them from the fire about to engulf them. The world is full of blind people leading the blind. We see the truth. We know they are heading on a path to go straight over a cliff. It would be a great injustice for us to question what we know and see. It is also a great injustice for us knowing and seeing the truth to not beg, plead, and make every effort to turn those blind people from their heading.

As for those that have never heard of Christ. Everyone is endowed with a conscience. Everyone knows right and wrong. They will be judged by their own measure. At any rate, if we know where they are we are obligated to go and preach the gospel to them.

God made us in His image. He is sovereign enough to enable us the ability of free choice and not be intimidated with it. This world has always been a testing ground to make us grow in character and in spirit. Adam and Eve were given the tree of the knowledge of good and evil so they could grow in respect of righteousness. God made them, but He couldn't make them with character or righteousness. These they must obtain by passing tests. If they would have say no to satan, they would have been that much more righteous on that day. Since they surcame to the temptation they learned what it was to be evil. Their distrust of God seperated them from Him. Now through Jesus Christ we can reenter into that relationship we were intended to have.

Don't worry about the countless people in error. There is only one way to change the world. That is to get yourself changed, and once you're changed stay true to yourself. Keep yourself unspotted by the world. Don't try to answer their railing arguments at God. You won't see a ruler arguing with a peasant. Because the ruler will not be brought down to that level. When people bring railing accusation against God He answers with silence. If they would seek the truth, desire wisdom and understanding, the question would be irrelvanr.

God's will is that everyone will make Heaven, but as we all know, that isn't going to happen.

However, Romans 10:9 says that "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Simple as that. You probably feel what you're feeling because it's what you're called to do... Win people into the Kingdom of Heaven! :) :thumbsup:

Dear Fearfullysad:cry:
God has not given us the spirit of fear,[refers to a disposition of the mind,not to fear] but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 11 TIMOTHY 1v7

He's given us a spirit of self control, made possible by the Holy Spirit, who demands we keep our faith in the cross. ROM.8v1-2,11,13. the work that was done there on our behalf guarantees all victory provided our faith is in the finished work of Christ. its that simple, yet many don't understand that because it has not been properly taught.
:preach: Its not so hard to understand the choice people make when you understand the hatred many have toward God almighty and his son, Jesus. Isaiah 53 tells a little of the sufferings that Jesus, an innocent spotless perfect lamb in the hands of cruel evil men, so much so, we can't even go there in our minds eye.yet it was necessary in order to redeem fallen man for without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin.

Yes, God loves us so much that he gave us a way back to him since the fall of man closed the door and did so by sending his perfect spotless only begotten son as a sacrafice Holy and without blemish. our minds can't comphrehend that as being out of love but it was love that sent him to die on the cross for you and for me. we all deserve to go to hell which was made for the devil and his angels. sin is serious and Jesus took all of it, past, present and future sins and nailed it to his cross. once and for all never to return and not leaving anything unanswered for.COL. 2v14,15 if one sin was left unatoned for, then the victory would have been rightfully satans. but thank God for Jesus who is KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!:prayer:

study 1,2,3 JOHN,the great love book. perfect love cast out all fear. 1 john 3 is on love. peter says The lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward not willing that any should perish, but that all should com to repentance. 11 PETER 3v9 if it seems as though God delays the fulfillment of his promises, it is for the purpose of getting more people into the kingdom of God.
he keeps calling after sinners to be saved which he alone made the way through the cross. most, sadly refuse his way. Love the Lord brothers and sisters with all your heart and soul. he is coming at any moment so look up for your redemption draweth nigh.:amen:
God Bless You, DEB~:hug:

Jesus loves you

I wouldn't let your fears bother me. It is true we will all be judged for our sins and our works. But ultimately, what condemns the unsaved is their rejection of Jesus Christ as their Savior.

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." -John 3:36

All we can do in this life is try to live more Christlike. To reach the lost for Him. Witness to them, present them with God's plan of salvation. Then it is up to the Holy Spirit to work in them to convict them. Either they will accept the Gospel or they will reject it. It is my duty to witness to all I run into and let the Holy Spirit work His works. While I'm truely sad that they sometimes chose to continue in sin, I can't worry about that. I can pray for them, interceed for them, but I can't make them receive the gospel. That's totally out of my hands.

"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." -2 Peter 3:9

God does not want to put anyone in hell. They put themselves in there.
