^ asked a question which I'm just about to answer It's working with children aged 3-11. Childcare and After-school care. After all this hassle, I'd better enjoy working there! I have been waiting for a police check (to make sure I have no criminal convictions that would be putting young children in danger), but it's been 3 weeks since that came through all clear *pout* I'm getting restless. Shouldn't be too much longer now though

^ should know that's what I did I've never had a job - not for want of trying. I tried to get Summer work because I had 3 months holidays when I was at Uni..but no-one wanted me I hope you start work easier than I have!

^ is going to try using Knoppix? It won't be as good as a laptop with a hard disk, but much better than no laptop at all

^ is right. I'm trying to figure it out...it doesn't seem straightforward because they word their explanations confusingly I won't be able to use my software though will I, like Word to type in, just access my already existing files...or what!?!?

^ is confuzzled by the Knoppix website... me too! And should be able to use all software included with Knoppix.
