I love the passage in Luke 15:5 where the good shepherd carried the lost sheep upon his shoulders bringing it safely home.
There is a time for walking, and a time for being carried. When we are perplexed and overwhelmed with what is going on in our lives, when we feel totally lost and inadequate and don't know where to turn, we can take up Christ's invitation to come to Him with our heavy loads and burdens, and He will give us rest. He will carry us and relieve us from our burdens.
