  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Anyone seen it?

What I like about the series is that there are life lessons to be learned from them. In all films released so far, all of them teaches the appreciation for one's life. In the last two installments, in addition to the lesson about appreciating one's life, they add two new lessons: Part III teaches forgiveness; and Part IV teaches patience, and caring by not caring.

There never should have been any sequels to the original.
Well, I agree with you there.

I am surprised some people find good values in these movies.

I personally steered clear of every one because I cannot sit through any horror movie. I am much too upset by gore.

I liked the Saw movies. I agree they did teach life lessons. I'd love to see part 4. I think I will now that the hype about it is almost over and the theatre won't be so crowded... at our theatre, a lot of kids go there and talk on cell phones and just talk to be talking and they interrupt the movie terribly. One guy cussed at some girls one time for being to obnoxious.

Anyway, back on subject, I think that out of the 3 movies that part 2 was the best so far. I have a feeling that part 4 will be even better.
