The Saw films have knocked down the A Nightmare on Elm Street films to become my favourite horror series.
All three films have a strong message about appreciating one's life. Although, I don't agree with how Jigsaw, the killer, went about to make people appreciate their lives more. He feels that people who don't value their lives deserve to lose it. The third film, in addition to the teaching about appreciation for one's life, also teaches about forgiveness; it also teaches about letting go in times of loss.
The third film is the goriest, most graphic film out of all three films. It is also the most graphic film I've ever seen in any horror film. As to how this film escaped with an R rating escapes me.
Anyone else seen Saw III?
