Haven't seen the movie yet, but plan to do so soon.
Bart lived down the street from us when he was a little boy, and he was friends with our son so he spent some time at our house. I am a retired public school teacher and Bart was in my class when he was in the 8th. grade.
Also, Bart's father was a year or 2 ahead of me in school and his mother was in my hs class.
Although I knew Bart, I did not know about the circumstances in his young life that led to his writing the song "I Can Only Imagine."
