I see my pain reflected in your eyes,
Down your cheek fall the tears that I’ve cried,
The lines of my grief show on your face,
And when I sinned you shared my disgrace,
When I was hurt you bore my scars,
When I had nothing you gave me the stars,
I felt alone and you stood by my side,
You took away the blade when I tried to suicide.
Watching my life you shared my past,
You stood by me, made my happiness last,
When I wanted to die, when my hope had gone
You held me in your arms, said I could be someone.
