To my understanding, Marco, that is exactly what is going on. From what I have seen of true Satanism, and the kind of spiritual warfare I have seen fought out, that is what is happening. Satan wants to drag you down with him; for you to give in to your primal urges and degenerate. The Holy Spirit, who was in you the second you became a Christian and gave your life to Christ, is screaming out for you to stop and come back in the RIGHT direction. I have done some pretty darn wrong things in the past, and I know that you can be made better than what you are right now; but only by God. The same thing was done in me. It is a gradual process, and rarely, if ever, happens over night, but you can become better than what you are now if you hand the reigns over to God. Think about it. Embracing humanity, and your animalistic urges, is embracing everything that makes us impure. Call me narrow-minded, but I have no idea how that could make you better.

You must serve God for this to happen, and try to forge a relationship with him. This does not mean you will begin a life of tedious thralldom! Its not like the media will have you believe; where Christians are forbidden to have any fun, and should spend all of their time in prayer. I mean, you should spend SOME time in prayer, and reading the Bible, and associating with other Christians who can help you grow, but it doesn't mean you have to give up everything thats fun.

Look at me, for example. I still hang out and have loads of fun with my friends, I still date and make out with my girlfriend, also a Christian.(we don't let our hands go anywhere dangerous, but yeah. There is nowhere in the Bible where it says not to kiss, or hold hands, or cuddle, or anything like that. So long as you stay sexually pure until marriage, that stuff is ok. Just don't let it get your mind on sex, because that could lead you in a path you don't want to go on) I still play video games and watch movies with some fantasy/magical elements, I listen to heavy foreign metal too. All I am trying to say is that you don't lose everything by staying in Christianity. I know my faith gives me a lot more peace of mind and contentment in life, and I definately feel like I am a better person now than I once was. It is WORTH IT, man. And once again, if you consider my word on it good enough, I have seen God intervene and save someone who didn't even really know anything about their faith from demonic attack, that could have actually killed them in the long run(complicated story, but just trust me on this.).

And the truth is, yes. We do care about you. We don't want you to degenerate into some hedonistic beast, or suffer for all eternity. I for one do not believe that the CAtholic church is the best place to recover and grow closer to Christ, but everyone has different needs and opinions.

I certainly hope that you will abandon the concept of Satanism. I have seen it horribly scar an innocent life, and I have seen it turn a perfectly normal-seeming guy into an instrument of evil, who used and abused and tortured without remorse. Not to mention, Christian belief is that it will certainly earn you a ticket to Hell, but I am not trying to scare you with that or anything. Yes that is a consequence, but Satanism has many worldly consequences compared to Christianity's worldly peace and betterment also.

Sorry to hear you are not having an easy time of it at the moment. After I became a christians and even worse after I was baptised, the spirit guides Ii had worked with in my former life, sort to try and make me think I was going crazy...... I thought maybe it was onset of mental illness, but after a pastor prayed for me one night I realised that it was a spiritual attack.

Have you done anything about asking Jesus into your life... I mean for a full on realtionship. A walk with the King doesnt have to be a life of tedium, infact I found that its hugely excting, to be able to put my trust in him and let him lead the way.... It doesnt matter what you've done, or what you think you may have done, God will meet with you exactly where your at. Because he loves you and wants the best for you....

Satanism, may seem like an exciting alternative, I know wicca did for me...... Also at the time, the idea of a religon that honoured women for their amazing placein the world, was also a big draw card for me.... I thought at the time (and still do really) that the main religons like islam and even christianity tend to like to see women put in a subservient position. Everything I wanted wicca provided. Even the ability to combat chronic pain, I had been exploring the properties of crystals and their uses in healing.......

There came a time though where wicca didnt have the answers any more. I had been through some fairly narly stuff when I was a young kid, and if my path I was on was correct I was merely a cosmic fart, which meant that this stuff that had happened when I was young was merely a cruel joke by the universe..........

If your interested I could send you my testimony for some light reading (hey its only about 2 pages), But anyway take care. Praying that you can find God in all this, and I mean the right God, not a cheap substitute

If your talking about real up to date Satanism or should I say 20yrs ago approx which is the same for those now. You want a full testomony of satanism to Christianity then PM me, you will see then why we are all fighting in prayer for you to stay out of it.

Wow, haven't seen or talked about this for a very very long time. I can't quote the Satanic Bible, but I was in the occult - I was born into a family with a history of occultic activity and therefore was always acutely aware of the spiritual world. Seeing as "God had failed me" (that's a story for another day, seriously), I turned to the occult.

In the town where I grew up there is a seriously old coven - generations so. I always knew they were there and I always knew who they were and that they were all flat out evil. I battled them spirtually without God in my life (none too bright I know), ultimately I ended up leaving the state because I feared for my life.

At any rate, I will tell you what I used to tell them - it still applies and it's still true.

Power - that's the lure of Satanism you know - you get into it you get to do a few parlor tricks and then voila you are hooked - you SEEM (emphasis on seem) to be in control - demons at your command whoo hoo and then slowly one day it starts to turn - you no longer control them but they in fact control you....

There's no grace in Satanism either - have you considered that - there IS no forgiveness for failure. He hates you before, during and after. You would be punished for failure you know....

An interesting thing I've noticed over the years - I used to read true crime books like no tomorrow - two things famous satanists have in common - someone ususally witnesses to them at least once in their life and for some reaason they tend to recall that event and many many of them commit suicide - the divide between reality and the spiritual world just becomes greater and greater and one (in that situation) is unable to choose the physical world over the spiritual world and it's too hard to live in two places at one time.

I know this sounds so "out there" trust me I know - I just wanted you to know that I've tried other Gods and I've seen Satanism up close and personal. There is NONE besides God....
