Rev. 12:12 devil has come down to you, vs13 dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, 13:4 they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast, start at the end of Rev. 12 read through from their I think you will get the picture. The dragon is the devil-satan.

Yep he certainly will try to impersonate the Lord. Satan is still yet very powerful. But it won't be a perfet copy. There must be signs to look for that the true Christ will or will not make. Christ will come at the right time and Satan at a lightly different time. I'm not really sure but I'd say he will come just before christ to throw us off. But we will know the truth from the lies as long as we hold onto to the truth.

This is no different from Tim LaHaye's "Left Behind" stories. We have already accepted Satan's impersonation. He has sold us a false view of the salvation Jesus accomplished and we have chosen to buy his version.Believer-in-Christ said:

Because he can.....simply because he can ask it.
There is scriptural support for this...I know there is, because my devoted Baptist Grandmother told me these stories when I was a child at her feet, and NO, not just false prophets...a false Christ. She didn't get it from Ellen White either, because the woman didn't know what Seventh-day Adventists were, she didn't know we even existed. I'm just not sure where the scripture is, what book, chapter, or verse she got it from.
For everything Godly, Satan has a counterfiet. You are right Happy, it's not a salvational issue, unless of course, one falls for the false Christ.
We know how Jesus will return....there should be no problem discerning the true Christ from the false one.

In the context of 2Cor:11 and verses 13-15, Paul shows how false prophets imitate the practises of their master the chief deciever, Satan. They do not change to the shape, form or the colour of angels but to man, they give the appearance of being pious, good, caring yet knowing they are not. This has been the modus operandi of Satan for the past 6000 years .I personally do not see, from this text quoted, an indication of the impersonation of Christ's second coming.SpeakNow said:
