On November 23, 2005 my good friend Sarah Jacob was found in her bedroom hanging from her bunkbed with a scarf around her neck. No one knows why she took her life that night but as the students of my school and close friends of Sarah try to adap to life without her we try to remember the happy times we had with Sarah. She was such a special girl in our lives She had a beautiful smile and the saddest thing of all is that she was only 15 when she took her life, such a young beautiful girl and now she no longer lives.

In dedication to Sarah Jacob, I built a website as a long lasting memorial for Sarah Jacob and as an inspiritation to suicidal youth to turn them in the right direction and make them realise that suicide is never the answer!

Oh Jamin, How very sad, that Sarah took such hopeless measures. I cried reading your post- MY daughter is 15, her name is Sarah. I just can't imagine what hoplessness engulfs our youth...

It is so sad when a young person feels life is no longer worth living. You are right to try to remember the good times you and your friends had with her. You are doing the right thing by putting up the site to help others who are hurting.
Keep it up as the more you help others the more you are helped. May God comfort you.

I am a mother of a suicide victim, my son who was 21, if only we could understand what goes through their mind maybe we could help. This is the statement that went through my mind many times over the last year till God made me realize that it is not up to us to know why but to understand that they saw no way out of the dark place they were in. I now know my son is in the arms of the Lord and at peace. I credit you for putting together the memorial for your friend and hope that the memories of her you hold close in your heart. Remember she is now at peace with the Lord and one day you will be re-united with her in the land of Glory.

I am lifting prayers to the Lord for you and Sarah Jacob's family and friends. May God grant you all peace and strength.

I lost a brother to suicide and know how difficult a time this is for all of you. My heart goes out to you. I do have one question though. I don't know if you have heard of it or not but there is a game called "The Choking Game" that a lot of youth are getting into. Could Sarah Jacob's death possibly have been a result of this game? Not that it will be any help with your grief. I was just thinking that if my brother had died as a result of this game, his death would have been a little easier as I would have known that he didn't intentionally want to leave us. Sadly, my brother chose to leave us. Maybe this question is inappropriate. I should just delete it. I don't know. Just thought I'd ask.
