sanguine vampires ?

does anyone know anything about sanguine vampires?
other then the fact they drink blood?

are they a cult or what? (from what I understand it isn't exactly a religion though)
I have tried to do research but I get conflicting information between the Wicca aspect and the non religious aspect.

Well, as far as I know, they're not a religion, so I don't think I'd call them a cult. There seem to be a lot of different groups and individuals, the only thing they really seem to have in common is that they drink blood... reasons may differ. Some of them are goths, some aren't. Some include this as some sort of sexual fetish, but a lot don't.

Probably doesn't help you much, but it's a diverse group of people who use that label.

Gardenia has provided a good explanation. For most its one of the options in the BDS&M scene that overlaps with small parts of the goth subculture.

Its an incredibly narcisstic and individualistic kind of place.

I suggest you review the etymology of the word "sanguine."
