1 Peter 3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us—baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

Repentance is from the heart to believe in the truth
Jesus was baptized and crucified to take away the sin of the world (John 1:29, 19:30) and resurrected for new life in Him.

    Romans 6:10
For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.
    Hebrews 7:27
who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.
    Hebrews 9:12
Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
    Hebrews 10:10
By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

    Transliteration: hagiazó
    Phonetic Spelling: (hag-ee-ad'-zo)

Usage: I make holy, treat as holy, set apart as holy, sanctify, hallow, purify.

Sanctification is an on-going process through-out our earthly lives.

Our flesh is the tent we live in and yes it is corrupted.

It is our minds/hearts, thinking that is being changed/sanctified/purified.
