Appearance: Samir is, quite simply, a vampire. As such, he is particularly handsome and, of course, very pale. He has a strong jaw, high cheekbones and a roman nose. The iris' of his eyes have turned dark like his pupils so that they look like two black holes peering out of the whites of his eyes. His hair is black and silky. It's longer, reaching to his shoulders. But he keeps it tied back at the nape of his neck in somewhat of a ponytail. As characteristic of the vampire, his canine teeth are slightly longer than most people's but could hardly be called fangs. They're simply larger than normal. He wears a dark gray tunic over black breeches and boots, but most of the time these are hidden under the long black cloak he wears. His hood is kept up over his head to protect his vampiric identity.
Personality: Samir's attitude changes to meet the needs of the moment. On one hand, no one crosses Samir. He is vengeful and vicious and deadly. His vampiric "condition" has programmed him that way. On the other hand he is also quite suave and charming when the occasion calls for it. As such, his reputation among men is that of a murderer and a demon. His reputation among women is that of a lady's man, albeit somewhat of a dangerous one. He is intelligent and cunning and regards most people as ignorant, primitive beings. Thus, his preference for "food" is the blood of humans, though he can survive on animals. He holds in contempt the rich and powerful and the rulers of nations because he believes they have no concern for those of lesser status. He detests oppression and thinks all life ought to be free, including those like himself, and will often prey first upon those who commit acts of violence against weaker or misunderstood beings, so he is not without compassion. For this reason, in Necromion, he is considered somewhat of a champion for the oppressed. His personality before he became a vampire is lost, as he has no memory of who he was before his life in Necromion began.
History: As stated above, Samir has no recollection of his life before he was banished to Necromion due to his "condition". When he came to Necromion, he was shunned by most of the people because they feared him. He fell in with others like himself and learned the traits necessary to survive, adopting their ideas and way of life. Unfortunately, most of the vampires were consumed with evil and because they were the first influences he had, he became like them. That is, until the day he met Eve. She had saved him from having a stake driven through his heart when he was caught trying to cross the border between Necromion and Namor. That day was the first time he had felt anything besides hunger and hatred since he became a vampire. He knelt right then and there and pledged his service to Eve, promising to protect her on her mission to free the banished, and has been her constant companion ever since.
Abilities: As a vampire, he is essentially immortal, save for a few weaknesses to wooden stakes or silver blades. He also possesses slightly superhuman strength and speed and is proficient in hand-to-hand combat and with the longsword.
