What defines a saint as opposed to a Christian? Has someone living been a saint in your life?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Word of God makes no distinction between the two. In the NT the term "saint" is used constantly as a general reference to Christians.
Every fellow follower of Christ that I have known, then, has been a saint in my life.

Yes I met one - many even - but one for sure - my wife Yvonne is a true saint - for she loves others more than she loves herself and in deed teaches people what it means to be honest, truthful, hard working and loving.
The miracles of her love conquering my life for God's loving truth are to many to recount - daily she loves, even those who are stuck in wrong, and prays for them as The Spirit puts on her.
The Spirit of God is actively working within her truthfully - not just once or sometimes but daily despite her short-comings and failures a loving servant of God's own to be. I'm but one person who is greatly indebted to her!
All praise to Jesus whom Yvonne has adored, trusted in and loved since she was a little kid. Truly He lives within her!
