How 'Saint Javelin' raised over $1m for Ukraine

I saw this, and I was wondering about whether this would constitute heresy? I know historically asking weapons to be blessed occurred, usually coupled with concepts of just wars or the like, but this is the Virgin Mary holding a rocket launcher ... I mean, it seems to me to at least imply an association with Jesus as salvation usually cradled by Mary, ie. saved by arms.

If not heresy, at least in poor taste.

Poor taste. I had a co-worker send it to me and apologized when I objected. Our company has a handful of contractors in Ukraine and they have fled to the western regions. I did have a chance to FB my son's godmother in Moscow and she normally likes to chat but this time simply said to pray for them. She works for an American company. I just noticed that she has been unfriending friends that we have in common, so she may being VERY careful in what she says.

It's definitely in poor taste in my opinion, and was likely made by someone who doesn't value what that icon typically depicts, or they would've found it to be in poor taste as well.

I think another matter to consider is this charity reliable? Reliable charities like International Orthodox Christian Charity etc. Our parish priest told me that the reputable charities also cooperate in the crisis zones.
