CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

my litle girl loved waching the shows, ive now discovered the books in our local comic book store. it be great to finally find out the rest of the storie as we never did get to see theending.

apparenbtly, anime wa sconsidered a cult, and it would hypnotise your children into A.D.D tv freaks that would concern themselves only with Anime (which is basically how I turned out anyways, but anyhow) Also the powers thing....

I love Sailor Moon, I miss watching it. They don't show it in the U.S. My favorite sailor scout was Sailor Saturn.

Oh my Goodness, I was the biggest Sailor Moon fan ever until they took it off the air. I mainly started to dislike it because of the lezbian stuff in there. For some reason, alot of the Japanese cartoons are like that.
Anyway, I met a bunch of kids at a park who told me a bunch of stuff about SM. (They were Christian kids who thought everything was evil)
I actually like the translations, because I don't like reading subtitles and I don't speak a word of Japanese!
But I loved those shows, I wish so much they still showed it in America. I remember that I would tell my Mema to wake me up every day at 7 AM just to watch it. I was such a big fan.
I miss it!

i perfer the subtitles because alot of times alot is lost in the dubbing of anime. I am personally not to ond of the lezbian stuff but i think the reason why alot of the anime is like that is because if they see it on tv the kids will learn to accept those types better

Why did they say it was evil? Did they mean the monsters and demons in it? And the homosexuality? I could see why. I hope they don't mean the magic in it. O_O I don't think SM is that evil, myself. Good series. One of my childhood faves.

yea probably. I own the first part if Sailor Moon S. I am trying to buy all the manga though. I read it before from my friend a few years ago but it wasn't from the beginning. But I am doing fine with it now.

I love Sailor Moon . I wish I could get the original series and see it in full. But, Tapes from Japan are expensive. Maybe they're show it on Boomerang some day.
