  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I doubt that, probably more they are not interested in a club. And yes I am a SAHM, I'm a homeschooler. Also not really interested in a club but I felt you needed some replies. I didn't even know there was a parenting section, but my kids are teens.

Day Care numbers are growing but so too is homeschooling, so maybe it's more the regular SAHM population that is shrinking. I think it's a shame but a lot of families need both parents working. Those of us who homeschool tend to join groups with other homeschoolers. I'm surpsied no kids were there, maybe it's your area? When my daughter was small she could go to just about any park and find a 'new friend'. :)

Where is the parenting section?

Well if it is, I salute you all, you have one of the hardest but fulfilling jobs there is.
