Not this:

'During the week of Jan. 8, coronavirus-related deaths among Johnson & Johnson vaccine recipients reached more than five out of every 100,000 people, CBS News reported'.

And 7 x 0.5 is...3.5.

This is the same lame excuse they used for J&J and Astra the first time around because they were a different and tested technology. Of course the immediate effect was in the markets and on sales. Mission accomplished for Pfizer and Moderna..

They already knew about the small risk a long time ago. That's why I had chosen the Pfizer vaccine. All vaccines have risks. That's why they made us wait at the site for 15 minutes after getting the first shot. It's just that at the time, with so many people dropping like flies from COVID and hospitals being overwhelmed and not having enough ventilators and not having enough vaccines for everyone at one time, they decided that that small risk with J&J was much lower than the number of people dying from COVID.
Now that things are settling down and we have plenty of vaccines available, now they are saying we'll limit the vaccines to the safest one.

IOW, the not-so-safe and effective(?) part has been known for awhile now, and it's just today they decided it was no longer safe.
Again, good reason to not fall for the government's claims about something being safe and effective, and "the right thing to do" when the actual effects are still unknown.

No, at the time, it was SAFER than having so many people dying from COVID. Now that the situation has improved, they can pull back and just work with the safest one.

Exactly! The chance of ending up in the hospital on a ventilator fighting for your life was greater WITHOUT the vaccine than the thrombosis risk with the vaccine.

The FDA says it has determined that the benefits of the J&J vaccine outweigh the risks for certain people. Examples of people who may still get the vaccine include:

• Those who had a severe allergic reaction to an mRNA vaccine such as those from Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna
• Those with personal concerns about the mRNA vaccines who would remain unvaccinated without the J&J vaccine
• Those with limited access to mRNA Covid-19 vaccines.

It is safe and effective. The rate of complications is really low. It’s just that there are safer alternatives, so why take even a very low risk.

The comparison also changes as the rate of death and serious illness goes down.
