I heard this from some Arabic channel on Satellite TV.

Personally, I think he's dead. I haven't heard one way or another that we have confirmed evidence of him being dead or alive on the major networks, just a gut feeling. Why haven't we seen him on live television? I could be wrong, but whether he's dead or alive, I don't think the Iraqi government would give us the satisfaction in knowing either way. They might be showing pre-recorded videos of him because he actually is dead, therefore can't appear live and just want us to think he's alive. Or they may be doing it because he's actually alive but want us to think he's dead and are using pre-recorded tapes because they know we'll figure out that they're pre-recorded and it will make us assume that he's really dead when in fact, he isn't. Who knows? I wouldn't put anything past them.

I don't think he is. Unless he was actually dumb enough to stay in Bahgdad. I think he's hiding somewhere. Probably sharing a cave with Osama.

I heard some official say on the radio that they receive information from trustworthy sources - some saying that he is dead and others saying that he is alive. There's so much confusion, some of it probably intentionally created by the Iraqis.
