CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

British sources are saying he's dead or captured, but I won't believe it until I see him in cuffs.... or his corpse. State Department says that they believe that Saddam Hussein is in custody... But you know with all the look a likes.. got to check his blood I guess.

This is so strange, tonight I just hooked up my old computer from Georgia, and it had about 2,000 pictures on it from the war that I havent catagorized yet, and I have been up all night doing that, brought back alot of memories, then I turn on the television and we got him. People in Baghdad are celebrating...

He is living in the middle east, I saw him interviewed on Al Jazzera, you know the offered him a job, thats not a joke they really did. He also claims the weapons are around.

Glad we caught him if this is true, might finally get some answers. Hope he isn't dead, would lose so much potential intel.
Heard he was found in a basement in Tikrit... what an idiot. Anybody who has ever played hide and seek knows you never hide in the basement!
Can't help but to wonder how this will affect the resistance, one would imagine this will kill alot of their support.

yeah me too. I am starting to believe it is more than a rumor, our Government says they think it's true, they really are doing DNA test. He had grown a long grey beard and had lost a significant amount of weight according to Fox.
