sad time

today i have to go shopping for stuff for the week and i hate the fact that i will have to be in a store full of men buying last minute gifts. It will remind me of the many times i did that for my wife (who died 3 years ago) I miss her terrably today!! yesterday i was wondering if anyone will hug me this christmas - i doubt it. If i asked for it someone might but i don't really want to ask.

My Lori is dead
My Carol is in prison
My daughter would be glad to hug me if she knew i needed one but i generally don't like to hug so she honors that and doesn't hug me.

but
My JESUS came and became one of us!! Wow!! What awesome love HE showed us!!

i know my sadness will help me be a better minister. Anyone else feeling sad?

My mother died at this time of year...it has taken 15 years for some of the saddness to leave. Now I am rejoicing at seeing her again in heaven.
Think your pain is still too new and it is different to lose a wife.

I'm Sorry to hear about your Wife, and I pray that you find Peace and Joy throughout this time of year. Joy is an attitude. It is quite possible to be sorrowful, and find joy in your heart at the same time. I will pray for you brother, and please, ask your Daughter for a hug. You will not regret it. You know, you've just made me think of something. It does mean alot just for a "hug".
