i just learned today that my cousin (actually she was a 3rd cousin or something), died Saturday of uterine cancer and while I hardly knew her, she was a good lady and I am really bummed out. Especially since I had a uterine cancer scare about 6 or 7 years ago. Thank God mine was benign. I thought she was doing well after surgery and treatment. Please pray for her family and for her, too. She lost her husband to suicide 20-25 years ago and now I pray she is once again joined with her beloved husband and mother, whom she missed terribly.
Her and her sister stood up for my hubby and I when we had our marriage convalidated about 18 or 19 years ago and I don’t think I’ve seen her since then. We exchanged Christmas cards but thats about it.
I’m going to always regret not making an effort to see her occasionally. I couldn’t drive to where she lived but my hubby couldve gotten me there.

May she rest in the peace of Christ. May God comfort you and your family in his love.

I prayed for her, that she may be in peace with Jesus in Heaven above with her husband and mother.

Thank you
You are welcome. Remember this verse below, and know that your cousin is in a better place, as Jesus stated this Himself.

John 14:2-4 (NIV): "My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going."

I’ve always feared death but then I realized that what I’m really afraid of is suffering and/or knowing I’d be dying.

Same here. Its only natural we fear it. Physical death is unnatural.

Do not fear death. We all might fear suffering, or dying slowly. Also, dying young is a fear for many people, cos then if one has children, imagine dying before one's kids are old enough to live on their own. Those are the scary things about death. Remember, we must also not try to hasten our deaths. Though, if one wants to sacrifice their life for someone, as in if there was a stroller rolling into a busy road, it is best to run into traffic to save the baby in the stroller, however, the stroller could be filled with groceries instead of a baby. Luckily, I have never had to witness that hypothetical.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20: "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."
