sad days

has anyone ever had to put a family pet to sleep. I just had to put my dog sadie, a Westie to sleep on friday....she was 10yrs old, and was completly blind and deaf...out of nowhere.....

I am so sorry for your loss! My prayers are with you, and your companion .It was horrible. I was a wreck for so long! My prayers go out to anyone who has to deal with such a loss. Their energy that is SO strong, and then is suddenly absent; I know how that feels!

Yes, I've been down that road a few times. It's always a hard decision to make, but I try to do what's best for my pet. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Ten years old isn't very old nowdays for a dog.

I am so sorry you had to go thru that. I have had to do that before. My baby had cancer. It had to be one of the worst days of my life. It has been over three years and I still cry sometimes when I think of him. I miss him so much.

Yeah. Last November, I had to put my horse down. It was one of the hardest things have ever had to do. I still miss him so much. He was my first horse. He was such a great companion. I stayed with him the whole time. I still have bad days when I miss him a lot. I know how you feel.

Hey, I'm so, so sorry about Sadie!! My family has owned lots of pets over the years and losing them never gets any easier. I know that heartbreak.
