Sacrifice Bracelets for Lent ?

I just stumbled on these . . I had never heard of them before, but the idea seems to me one that would have a great deal of benefit especially for helping children, at least older children to really focus on sacrifice and good deeds.

With lent coming up, I seems to be something that would be even more beneficial . .

Has anyone used these or know anything about them?

Oh yes, if we get any money early on in Lent- my kids really want them! I 've never seen them as bracelets, but ones that can double as a one decade rosary-- and you slide the beads down as you make sacrafices throughout the day. Apparently this was a devotion of St. Therese!! I found out about the at catholic Heritage Curricula (.com I think is them online!).

I love it because it is so simple and really emphasizes the "Little Way"....

Thatsa great idea. It will also help us remember that it is Lent. Too many times have I eaten meat on Friday, not thinking and not remembering that I am supposed to abstain from it.

In The Story of a Soul, St. Therese was given a sacrifice bracelet by her sister Pauline (I believe, I can't remember).
