Anyone heard of this game. New realease for PC's. Anyone know if it is okay for christians. It is a lot like diablo, but minus the devil theme. It should be fun. Any opinions on it.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I played it at a friends a bit...its ok. not worth $60 though. if you can get it used, go for it, but if not...stay away from this title.

Played the demo lastnight. I liked it!
Definitely Diabloesque, but frankly I've been needing a good romp and pound game!!
Good fun, simple point and click action. Fantastic mindless fun is back!

I picked it up, it's great fun. Not quite as deep skill-progression wise as Diablo but the graphics are great and the gameplay is very similar. It's a little buggy still, although the company who makes it seems to be pretty good about releasing patches. My wife and I have been having a good time with it.
Christian-wise, it's your typical fantasy role-playing game. It leans more towards the Tolkien-esque side of things (orcs, goblins, dragons, etc.) so if you didn't have a problem with the content of the Baldur's Gate series then you probably won't find much to offend you here. Non-US versions of the game are quite bloody but there's an option to turn it off if you don't like it.
Overall it's a fun game. It's only $40 in my area.
