  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was browsing through a website and found a list of other Sabbath observing denominations. I knew there was more besides Seventh Day Adventist but this list is far more huge than I realized:

http://www.the-ten-commandments.org/sabbathkeepingchurches.html

I hope to meet many of those that are from these other denominations when I get to heaven for I believe that heaven will be full of many different denominations. Some people who are not Seventh Day Adventists often believe that Seventh Day Adventists think that only Seventh Day Adventists will be in heaven. I cannot speak for other Seventh Day Adventists but I can speak for myself in staying that I believe many denominations will be in heaven. :oldthumbsup:

Thankfully God does not require us to have our theology 100% right in order to enter heaven, otherwise no one would get in, but at the same time I think there is a line somewhere where two people are not following the same God.

Interesting list but very misleading.

The majority of those listed are individual independent congregations, and if the Messianic movement is any indicator, most would be on the small side. (under 100 attendees) Some are para-church ministries. One of them, #330, Is one guy - Jeremiah Greenberg. I know him and am on one of his CDs.

It would be interesting to see the single congregations and individual ministries pulled off onto a separate list and then list how many congregations are included in each of the denominational listings.

AMEN! And it's a big fat line. Not an idy bidy thin one. I also think as things progress, a great number of people, who LOVE the Lord, will see err and "fix" their personal trek. I wonder if any particular denominations will?

Doubt it... there will be no corporate salvation as we can clearly see even among our movement.

How true. It's NOT getting better either, I just wonder IF any Sunday keeping denom will ever get it.
God's people are in all denoms and belief systems... few that find it.

Of course, but I wonder IF a Sunday denom will change their spots ever. I've always said there are LOTS of folks in other denoms. Better than myself at adherence to Godly principles. It's weird at the first, I realized there was a God, and it's not me. Then I learn some truths. Then I learn some prophecy and more truth. Then I witnessed some miracles. Then I realized I'm still a wretch in dire need of mercy every day. I just want to learn and do His will, spread some love and truth....and make the cut! I never sought relief from worldly things, booze n drugs, things I couldn't fix, but He saw that I needed to put all that away and I just lost the desires. Sorta like a person that smoked for 50 years and got Alzheimer's. They just "forgot" that they smoked! That in itself would be a plug for Reasons to Believe. Peace be with you.

God has children, many of them, in the Protestant churches, and a large number in the Catholic churches, who are more true to obey the light to the very best of their knowledge than a large number among Sabbathkeeping Adventists who do not walk in the light. The Lord will have the message of truth proclaimed, that Protestants may be warned and awakened to the true state of things and consider the worth of the privileges of religious freedom which they have long enjoyed. – {16MR 237.2}
