  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Rusty And Super Friends in The Evil Artist

Today began like any other ordinary day, but then things abruptly changed.

I took my dog outside for his normal walk, but I noticed a young woman and a young boy. They seemed to be sleeping on the street from the looks of things. My dog, Rusty, and I kept walking down the sidewalk but we didn’t make it far before I began wondering about the 2 people we saw.

I looked back but did not see the woman or the boy. Now, where did they go? Where are they from? What is their story? There must be something wrong for them to be on the street, but what?

When we got home, Rusty wanted to stay outside, so I said, “ Okay, you can stay on the porch,” and I went inside to go watch some TV. Saddie, wanted outside also, so I let her outside too. After I shut the door, Rusty said, “Lets go Wonder Pup.” Rusty jumped up and pushed the latch on the gate. They ran into the backyard so they could change into their super clothes. After they changed, they flew into town. They loved to solve mysteries and there seemed to be a mystery to solve.

They flew into town to see if Saddie’s friend Lizzie could help them figure out what is going on with the woman and the young boy. Maybe Lizzie had seen them somewhere in town. We could only hope.

Whenever they landed they at Lizzies house, they see her in the backyard. They ask her if she has seen the two people. Lizzie says she will give them the information if Rusty will give her 15 doggy treats. Rusty agrees to the plan and hands 15 treats to Lizzie. She confirms that she thinks the woman may live next door to Lizzie. Rusty and Saddie say, “ Thanks” and head out to look for the boy and woman.

Rusty and Saddie left to look throughout the city for the two people who had consumed Rusty’s mind. Rusty could sense in his super dog gut that the boy was in trouble, but he could not put his paw on the problem.

Saddie broke Rusty’s train of thought by bringing his attention to a local newspaper. The newspaper headline read: Young Boy Kidnapped by Babysitter.

Rusty looked at Saddie and wondered. Could this be why his super dog stomach had been so upset? They needed more time. Rusty and Saddie did not know where to look next for the boy, but they were more and more concerned. Where had the babysitter taken the boy? Why did she kidnap him?

Rusty and Saddie stopped at a payphone to call and check in with Lizzie because they hoped she had some information for them. Lizzie said she had seen a news report on TV that said the woman apparently was a famous artist but the police still had no other clues. Rusty was glad that had a little more information than they had before but it wasn’t much.

Rusty and Saddie hung up the phone and put on their super clothes to continue the search. The dogs began their search but did not get far before they saw their owners car driving down the road. Rusty began to get concerned because they had to get home and fast. They flew as fast as they could to make it home before their owners, which saved their super hero identities from being found out.

Rusty began to pace in the living room. “What are we going to do about the boy?, said Saddie. Rusty and Saddie had to come up with a plan to get outside where they could sneak away again to look for the boy. Rusty began to whine to go outside. Chance came to the door and let them outside. Rusty thought they better wait until after dark to begin their search again but they gave Rusty time to devise a plan to figure out where the boy could be.

Maybe if they looked at a newspaper they could read the classified ads for babysitters and begin to check those out. Rusty found several ads for babysitting so he and Saddie decided to begin there. Rusty and Saddie were anxious to put their plan into action.

About 10p.m. that evening, Rusty and Saddie finally got their chance to make a break to check out t he babysitting ads, so they set out on their adventure.

The first address they went to did not seem to have anyone at home, so they went to the next address. The boy they are looking for is supposed to be blonde headed, brown eyes and about 7 years old. The man at the next house was very nice but did not seem to know anyone that fit that description. All of the sudden, Rusty began to hear his and Saddies owners calling them home. They had to get home and Fast!!!

Rusty knew they could not make it home before their owners began to think they had run off, so he stopped at a payphone to call their friend Memo, who lived down the street. Rusty asked Memo to distract Chance and his mom until they could get home. If they didn’t get home before being discovered they would lose their superpowers forever. Memo agreed to help Rusty and Saddie.

Rusty and Saddie began the trip home again. They flew as fast as they could and made it home just in time. Luckily, Memo was so annoying that Chance and his parents didn’t have time to look for Rusty and Saddie.

The next day Rusty and Saddie began their search early in the morning because Chance and his parents went to Lubbock, so they were left outside all day. They began to check the second ad listed in the paper. The house they went to did not even know there was an ad in the paper for their address. Rusty and Saddie thought this was odd so they contacted Lizzie to see if she had any ideas or leads. Lizzie did not have any more information but suggested they use the Internet to seek information about any artist they could be in the area for any reason. While on the Internet they found an article stating that an artist named Leah Evanston was suppose to be holding an exhibit at the museum in Lubbock. Rusty and Saddie were so excited to finally have a lead about the kidnapped boy. They called Lizzie to see if she could go to Lubbock and check out the information they found on the Internet.

Rusty and Saddie had to get home before it got dark or they would be found out. So, Lizzie took off toward Lubbock to see if the boy whom they had found out was named Justin, was with Leah at the museum. Lizzie arrived at the museum and asked the director about Leah. He told Lizzie that she lived at 1920-21st Apartment #B. Lizzie called Rusty and Saddie to check in as to what to do. They asked her to go ahead and see if Justin was at the apartment.

Lizzie flew as fast as she could. She had to get home soon or her owner, Tanna, would lock her out of the house. Lizzie knocked on the door of the apartment and a little boy answered. Lizzie asked him his name and he said, “Justin”. Lizzie was excited until a woman came to the door very angry. Lizzie got scared and ran away. She went to the phone and called Rusty to tell him he had found Justin. Rusty called the police with the information they had collected. The police went to the apartment and located Justin and Leah. Leah said that she wanted a child of her own so badly she came up with the plan to kidnap Justin, but the plan was ruined by the Super Dogs of Levelland Texas.

The police were so shocked to find out who had solved the mystery of Justin’s kidnapping, that all of the Super Dogs received medals of valor for the wonderful work they had done for the community. The newspaper took pictures of all of the Super Dogs, which lead to the dogs’ owners finding out about their super powers. Now their secret was out.

What will be the next adventure of the Super Dogs? Wait and See!!!!

Just one last story before I leave for an extended period of time (cause everyone has decided to make my life misrable) So, enjoy! :).....:(
