I'm from Saint-Petersburg, Russia
Here, in Russia, 95% of russian ordinary people says steadily "I am believer, I am orthodox christians", but mostly there's nothing behind these words except self-determination

So, our protestant churches are half empty, although we have dozens of them! It's good when a church has 20-30 members every sunday. We have lack of real christian communication... in the city of 8 millions citizens...
So, please, PRAY for russian protestants, pray for russian people who really wants to believe in our God!

Gosh don't be so hard on yourselves with Christianity. Russians seem more Christian than most Western Europeans at least. Plus, Russia hasn't jumped on the bandwagon with homosexuality and all of that, which is good. I am not crazy about Putin, but it's clear that Russia has done well under his leadership and most people there support him, so I have no objections to him. Russia has its future ahead of it for sure.

Because missionaries brought them to a protestant denomination, or they have ancestors from protestant areas, perhaps?
