Rurouni kenshin and inuyasha

kenshin is a "samauri" from the fudel japan... he once slautered many people, but after that era ended there was no use for a batousai... so he stopped killing and became a wanderer.

inuyasha fan-- ha!

btw how many posts do you have to have before you can have a signiture? custom avatar?

You have to have 50 posts to have a signature. 200 posts for a custom avatar. Alternately, if you have that many blessings you can do it too. It's just that the easiest way to get blessings is to make a post, and for every post you make, you get one blessing. It's in the site's FAQ under 'Search' on the menu bar.

As for the thread question, I dunno. But I am a bit partial to Inuyasha.

How reputation works is a little tricky, at least to me. But basically, when someone agrees with you, they can raise your reputation if they have the power to do so. The power to change people's reputation has to be earned, or at least, the degree to which you can change someone's rep has to be earned. I really had a hard time understanding the way the description for it was written.

Blessings, on the other hand, are like cash. You earn them, then if you put a signature or avatar into your profile, it takes away from the total amount you have. And if you choose to bless another member of the website, you're transferring some of yours over to their account so your count goes down again. The only ways to get free blessings is to either post or to win the games in the arcade. At least, those are the only two ways I know of.

Like I said before though, the FAQ has all this in it. That would be the right place to look.

Hmm, amazingly I can't say much on this, I've no idea who Kenshin is. If he can deal with Inuyasha's super-human strength and regeneration, maybe, I dunno.
I second everything you said Ryder.

Hey, Neo-with-the-odd-codings! I threw you 250 blessings to let you pick an avatar and signature. Normally giving somebody blessings is anonymous -- but I'm placing one catch to it -- you have to write a post here on what's admirable about Kenshin, in your opinion. :)

Actually, you need blessings, not posts, for custom signatures and avatars. You get one blessing for every post, so if you don't get blessings as a gift from someone (like I did) or get a high score in a game, it amounts to the same thing.

As for the question... I can't say yet. I just started collecting Inu Yasha. I've seen the first six episodes (I have up through volume five, though) and i've read up through volume six. I'll answer the question after I know more about Inu-Yasha's true power.

But if InuYasha is human during the fight, then Kenshin would win easily.

Thanks to Ñëǿ's question, I ended up doing some Internet research on the background on Kenshin -- and I found out that before he reformed, (a) he was fighting for the rebel side and (b) was "the strongest imperialist." To me, that sounds like it took place during the Meiji Restoration, when the Emperor was restored to authority and the shoguns that had been running the country were thrown out of power. Is that accurate?

Yes, Rurouni Kenshin takes place during the Meiji Restoration. The series begins in the 10th year of the Meiji Era.

/me wonders if he should create a new thread- Soujiro vs. Kohaku*
They are the two best characters on their respective shows... even though Kohaku barely shows up.:(
*points to his avatar*
Soujiro would pwn InuYasha and Kenshin, though. ^_^
