In my opinion running is the best type of exersize. Heck if i could I would run pray and post on this website all at onec.

elginmar said:You're entitled to your opinion, but I'm convinced of just the opposite. Running is about the worst form of exercise there is due to its high-impact nature. Even if you don't want to lift weights at all, there are better options for cardiovascular fitness, as fitmom pointed out. Cycling for instance.

starelda said:I also believe we are designed to run on soft ground...unfortunately there isn't enough of that nearby to me so I'm running on tarmac at the moment. Have not experienced any impact injuries yet but as my runs get longer the majority of them will be on soft ground.
