Running the race

ccHey, this is the first time ive been on this particular part of the site, but i jus wanna say that i have been listening to Joyce Meyers, a particular teaching session bout not giving up. It has really encouraged me. Im in my last year of highschool with exams and lots of work and i was getting really down bout it, thinking i couldnt do it. But from listening to God through Joyce meyers, i have been so encouraged and empowered to finish the race and to do the purpose God has given to me. So many christians go for the goal but end up stopping along the way, coz they think they cant do it. i was at a stage ready to give up, but now i dont want to. i dont care what it takes. i no there WILL be trials and tribulation but i dont really care as long as im doing Gods will. I just want to encourage people, as i have been encouraged to not give up the race. dont settle for ok, coz God wants to give u his best. It might be a long and hard race but IT WILL BE WORTH IT!

I am a much older Christian and I have found the message does not change. "Keep on keeping on"!

For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. 2Chr. 16:9

...therefore, we ourselves speak proudly of you among the churches of God for your perseverance and faith in the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure. 2 Thess. 1:4

He will strengthen you to the end, so that you may be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful; by Him you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. 1Cor. 1:8-9

I'm in the same position as you...last year of school, under a lot of pressure with exams and work...and this thread was a real encourager, I WILL make the finish line!
