Running Cancer Thread

Please pray for my mom's best friend Jeanette who has been battling ovarian
cancer for the last 2 1/2 years and is nearing the end of her fight.
Pray for all of those who suffer from pancreatic cancer, the most painful and fast-spreading of them all, which sadly I saw take my mom's life this spring.

Lord be with Jeanette and watch over her and her cancer and that people like her will look up to you and lean on you now more than ever. Be with TGS and help him as he is holding up with the death of his mother and that he and his family will look up to you. In thy name, amen.

My aunt Velma Powers and my aunt Rachel Taliaferro

My aunt Velma Powers was recently diagnosed with a cancer (no to sure of the specifics) it has progressed really far, the doctors give her a year. We are usually a praying family, but it seems family members are blaming her for not knowing sooner more than they are praying for her. It broke my heart when i discovered her attituted was "my family has abandoned me, im ready to go."

My aunt Rachel is on my dads side of the family, I dont see her as often as i'd like. My dad told me that she has lung cancer, research shows that people that take their recomended amount of medicine live 5+ years longer. She does not take her medicine, or do whatever it is she is supposed to. She is the funniest woman you'll ever meet in life, and i do not want to see her go.

God is stronger than any disease on earth, please pray for these two women with me. Thank you in advanced.

Dear Heavenly Father

Lord we know that You are soveriegn. You are God alone. Father we thank You for all that You are doing in the lives of the people who believe in You and love You. Father, we do not know why things happen the way that they do, but we trust Your will to always prevail. Father we come to you today in prayer and supplication for catgarden's Mother, for Shirley O'Brien, for Velma, for Jenna, for all the ones in need on this thread, and for all the people who have been afflicted with some form of cancer.

Father, we ask that You move in their lives. We ask that You perform the miracles we know You can perform. We ask that You please step in and help these conditions to get better. Lord, we ask that You hold these people and their families in the palm of Your hands and take care of them as they are Yours alone.

When they are confused with the health issues they have been delt with, please guide them, when they are weary, please energize them, when they are burned out, infuse them deeper with the light of Your Holy Spirit. Father, please protect them and keep them close to You. In this we ask in Jesus holy name, Amen

Barbara:- Has Stomach Cancer

George:- Has Bowel Cancer

Peter:- Has a Brain Tumour

Dierdrie:- Has cervical Cancer

Diane, Paula and myself who have Breast cancer.

We are all having Radiotherapy or Chemotherapy, and Diane, Paula and myself are having operations on Monday all followed with treatment.

Barbara has her op on Wednesday, George on Thursday and Peter and Dierdrie the following week. Non of us know how successfull the operations will be.
Please will you pray!
