Running Cancer Thread

My first cousin has had cancer for many months now. Although he is mercifully in excellent care this cancer has been one that seems to frustrate at every turn. At the moment for a real breakthrough to occur "dramatic shrinkage" needs to happen from the treatment he is now receiving. Any prayers for him would be greatly appreciated.

Can I please put my brother on this prayer forum? He is dealing with leukemia and it's been a long hard battle for him and for my mom and papa. thanks. Some days are very good,right now he is doing okay but he has a major appt next week and more bone marrow fusions.Thanks.

While I did not report my Father In Law's Cancer I can say that he just pass on to be with Jesus. He was 84 and saved. We will dearly miss him but we all have to pass that way and the joy of the Lord is our strength. For us there is victory in death because our Savior Jesus Christ conquered death on the cross. This is a sorrowful moment because we will miss him but it is also a time of rejoicing. So as you pray thank the Lord for his salvation. This is a happy ending because it is the beginning of an eternity with Christ. Oh! How I love Jesus. God Bless Everyone.

Please pray for my Grandmother and for my family as my Grandfather died yesterday morning at 10 am after fighting pancreatic cancer. We will really miss him but resign to the fact this super soul went straight to Jesus.

My mother is awaiting the results of a biopsy for a tumour that was removed from her bladder. My siblings and I are not ready to lose her yet and due to other health issues she may not be strong enough for chemo and radiation. Her journey has been hard the last few years since my father died unexpectedly. Pls pray for my mother, JP, that her test results are beneign.

She has lost a lot of weight and went into the hospital Tuesday. She is in stomache pain and had been having back pain and fractures of her back (from the cancer). They are operating on her Wednesday, exploratory surgery. I think they said it was bowel obstruction. I do not know yet if she has cancer there too.

They are thinking it is not cancer in her stomache. There have been many x-rays ordered, and the surgery was not done today, but it may be done tomorrow, Thursday. There are also many doctors coming in to check her case out.
She was being treated for her myeloma. My mother said that it could be the medicine they put her on. I was thinking it could be the weight loss.
She was in intense pain.

I was diagnosed with muscle-invasive Bladder cancer 5/06. Am going soon for radical cystectomy (removal of bladder with bladder reconstruction)

I could use prayers: for peace of mind, speedy recovery without complications, successful surgery, and that the cancer is removed through surgery and that it hasn't or won't spread to other organs. And prayers for my family (mom, dad, sister) in dealing with this.
