my grandma...she got the results of her biopsy back yesterday. she has cancer in her lung, but it's not aggressive. she goes back to the dr. on thursday to see the alternative ways to fight it, instead of using chemo. thanks to all in advance who are praying. you all are so appreciated, more than i can say. may God bless each of you in such a special way.

The Rugby Coach From My high school . Courtney Taff. Lymph Cancer I believe. She's on a dead line literally. Please pray she will feel no pain. If the lord wants her it's for the best. But just ask that there is no pain involved anymore and that healing for those affected will happen.

My Christian Brothers and Sisters I come to you at this time requesting prayer for special people in my life who are suffering from the evil disease cancer. I have four- (4) request. If you would be so kind as to read each and consider their needs, I will be forever grateful.

One, is a truck-driving friend of mine who lost part of his jawbone because of cancer. He now has no sense of taste because of radiation treatment and is in rapid weight loss. His name is "Duke" and he is about 65 years old.

Two, is another truck-driving friend on mine who just underwent lung surgery after extensive chemotherapy and radiation treatments to shrink the tumor removed with part of his lung. His name is "Fred" and he is about 64 years old.

Three, is my nephew who undergoes surgery to remove a mass from his colon this week. The tests and scans report that cancer has already spread into his liver and other organs. His name is "Jimmy" and he is only 35 years old.

To my knowledge, none of the aforementioned men knows Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Please pray that they find the peace of the greatest physician of all--Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Once the Lord enters their lives, the healing process begins immediately. Even if the cancer is to death, and they know Christ, O death where is thy sting? God, I pray your forgiveness should I have unknowing misstated the situation of any of my friend's relationship with you. We all know that sometimes illnesses will bring about redemption quicker than any thing else.

Four, a dear Christian Sister underwent surgery to have a cancerous mass removed from her nasal cavity. She is a very private person in her mid fifties without a mate, only an aging mother whom she cares for. She lives alone. Before the onset of her debilitating illness, she was very active in her church. She has lost the function of one eye, is undergoing massive radiation treatments daily, lonely and suffering greatly. Please pray for her.

Brothers and Sisters, I beseech you, most importantly pray for my friends who do not know God, as far as I know, and need redemption. Let them find peace and understanding at the foot of the Cross-of Jesus Christ where they may lay their burdens at his feet.

Corinthians, Second Chapter, Verse Nine:

"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."

I thank you for taking the burdens of my Brothers and Sister upon your shoulders upholding them in your prayers. I pray believing that God has a miracle that should manifest soon on behalf of my friends. Please pray for this miracle too.

My prayers are with everyone here, and those they are praying for.

Please remember David, who is dying from cancer, and his 12 year old daughter, who is trying to cope with this knowledge. Perhaps also his parents, who refuse to believe it is happening, and are trying to prevent him from knowing as well, which means he cannot prepare himself emotionally or spiritually. (Financially I have covered as far as I can; a couple of months ago I sat with him and he dictated his will to me, and then signed it. )

He is my former husband. And I am struggling to speak the truth to him, without hurting him more than I have to. But I can't deny it is happening, because it is. And our daughter cannot deny it, because she can see it, as clearly as I can.

The last prognosis we have is that he will not see Christmas. But who can say?

Lord watch over David. And here's hoping in thy will that good news will look up to him and the family. And that if not, that they will prepare for what will be thrown their way.

I have just spent almost an hour reading posts in this thread, many tears have been shed, and many many more prayers said.
I'm not even halfway thru!
A close friend of my family Richard Hurd died of a cancerous brain tumour a month or so ago, I wrote on here when he was diagnosed, he had been given a fifty fifty chance back then but it soon deteriorated, it was such a shame that he was alone when he passed, he wasnt a christian though his wife is to some degree and is so very destroyed by her loss, and shame that she wasnt there in his final minutes. Luisa (his wife) is pushing people away now, she has lost 3 close people to cancer in as many years and may now have it herself, but has shut herself away.
Lord I pray for all the familys here that are affested by cancer, I pray lord that you show them your love, and that you are holding them. I pray in particular for those who have lost someone to this dreadful disease, that they may feel your love and not question you Lord. In your loving name,

1 of our family friends has been working on the farm for about 45 years towards retirement, but now he had been diagnosed with cancer and will most likely...die.

also we have another family friend who is in the same situation.

I will be praying for all of the requests , and remember this : Jesus Heals ! There is nothing too hard for our God , this i know as he healed me from cancer , 9 years ago.
Sometimes he uses chemo, sometimes surgery, sometimes he just steps in, all according to his will for your life . But even if you have to walk it out , he is there , and in him is perfect healing. Praise God !
